The Henderson household and New Life Network ministries have much to be thankful for in this 2009 Christmas period.
On December 4, 2009 at 10:45 PM, in Albany, GA the first Henderson girl in 68 years was born to our elder son David (who is now 39 years of age) and our daughter in law Barbie. Her name is Kayla Danette Henderson (see attached picture with Me-Me Cheryl). Doctors told Barbie since she was a young girl that she would never get pregnant due to a serious childhood illness. They were obviously mistaken and we are so thankful to the Great physician for that. David is one of our three sons and he is the one that we have prayed for constantly. We have been through drugs, arrests, and jail time with this son and it looked in the natural at times that he would never make it. Don’t ever give up on your children! With God, all things are possible!! The Bible says we can be saved and our household (Acts 11:14) and that the seed of the righteous shall be delivered (Proverbs 11:21). We stood on those promises for a very long time. We are so thankful to God today that David is now free from drugs, has a good steady job, and is now the father of a beautiful baby girl. God is so good!!!!
The year 2009 was a great year for the ministry of New Life Network. Thousands of businessmen and women have been ministered to this last year through the R3Global functions. The voluntary Sunday morning services held after major events have been phenomenal and life changing. If you missed Family Reunion in Orlando, FL in August 2009 you missed a miracle Sunday morning service that exceeded all our expectations. Approximately 1000 people were at the altar Sunday morning and over 200 were baptized in the hotel pool. For the first time ever we ran out of new believer packets and that is a very good sign. God is able to do exceedingly more than we can even ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Next year (2010) will even be better!
Many of you may not know that we have also assisted Joyce Meyer Ministries for the last 15 years helping her new believers find good home churches. We are so thankful for the approximately 6000 people a year that are assisted through that program and the faithful financial support of Joyce Meyer Ministries. Also, starting in 2009, Joel Osteen Ministries has started using New Life Network to do the same assistance as we do for Joyce Meyer and we are very thankful for their recognition of the ministry of New Life Network.
Most of all, we are thankful to God!!! This eblast is not long enough nor is our vocabulary expansive enough to explain the multitude of things that we have to be thankful for. An eternal salvation through Jesus Christ that is undeserved; a marriage of 42 years that is grounded on the Rock; three sons, their three wives, and seven grandchildren that are the love of our life; R3Global, Monavie, Brig & Lita Hart, Steve & Gina Merritt, Charlie & Debbie Kalb, Frank & Cindy Soucinek, and all the other R3Global leaders who have all been instrumental in opening a wide door for the ministry of the Gospel; our ministry Partners that have been faithful to pray and support this ministry financially; and the peace of God that surrounds and protects us through every step; are just a few things we constantly thank the Lord for every day.
We encourage each of you to be thankful during this Christmas season and then keep on being thankful on a daily basis. You will be surprised how it will change things in your life, family, and business!
Psalm 95:1-3 O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. For the lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
