Scripture for the Day
(January 5. 2021)
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
( 2 Timothy 4:7)
On January 2, at 4:30 in the morning my love, Ed Henderson transitioned from Life to Life. He is now with his Father and walking on streets of gold!
He fought a long hard fight with Colon Cancer. Although our hearts are broken and we will so miss him, he reminded me often that “no matter what happens, I win!” Well, he did just that! He is now in the presence of the Lord. He knows as he is known, he has joined the crowd of witnesses who lean over the bannisters of heaven routing for us! I am so thankful that we had 53 years together. We laughed, we cried, had babies, worked hard, and served God together. We have wonderful memories and we have seen God do great miracles. I was blessed to have a husband who loved me, took care of me, was a loving father, and most of all a man of God. Oh, by the way, he was a great fisherman too! Husbands and wives I exhort you to love each other, speak life to each other, encourage each other, be thankful for each other and serve God together.
