We see so much negative in our news media about our local police, who risk their lives for us every day. Last night, we saw the other side of that story (the real side).
The family had gathered together (40-50 people) for dinner at Danny’s daughter’s home. The night before the family had gathered together and Danny had told each one of the kids about the presents Kari had purchased for each of them. All these presents burned up in the fire. Someone there made a list of all those items and somehow that list made it to the local police.
As we were gathered together to eat with the family that second night the police came in at the end of our meal with presents for the entire family. They had gone out and purchased all the presents that were lost in the fire. What a tremendous blessing!!!
Keep praying!!! Today is the viewing at their local church (Collierville Bible Church), which will be hard for Danny and the family. The funeral is Saturday at 10 AM at Germantown Baptist Church, Germantown, TN.
