Scripture for the Day (November 27, 2018)
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. (John 4:23)
We just had an outstanding Sunday Service at our church (Victory Tabernacle) in Albany, GA. The anointing of God was so very present and powerful in the worship and in the Word preached. As a result, many people were ministered to at the altar. That same anointing also resulted in several prophetic words at the end of the service which were given by different people in the congregation. Some of you may have never experienced this type service, but just let me say this. The gifts of the Spirit were given to the church by God and the church is still here. These gifts have not died out, and when they are in operation, they are very powerful.
I woke up this morning with a prophetic word on my mind and heart. Maybe it was because some of that anointing we experienced in church Sunday morning rubbed off on me. Whatever the reason, here it is. Hopefully this will give you just a small taste of the prophetic that we experienced on Sunday. This word is for someone today!!!
Today is the day that I have made, so rejoice and be glad in it. I have made this day for you and for all that believe. Today is the day of salvation, healing, and freedom. Your salvation has already been paid for on the cross of Calvary. The blood shed on that same cross paid for your healing. You have already been healed and saved if you will just believe. Cast all your cares on me for I care for you and have already made provisions for you. Forget those things that are behind and press toward the higher calling. Accept this day as a new day and a new beginning for that is my plan for you and all my plans are for good and not for evil. My plans are to give you hope and not fear or disappointment. Do not listen to the “accuser of the brethren” for he is a liar and the father of lies. He comes to kill, steal, and destroy, but I have come to give you life and life more abundantly. Set your eyes on the things above. Set your eyes on the invisible. Do not stare at, or concentrate on, temporal things. Let My peace and My Spirit guide you through every challenge and every circumstance. Know that My thoughts toward you are for good and not for evil. My desire is for all my children to be led by My Spirit and that they be blessed going out and blessed coming in. It is my desire for all your needs to be met. It is my desire that you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers. Be thankful this day for you are a chosen generation. All you need to do is believe. The provisions have already been paid for. Just Believe!!!
A true word of prophesy is guided by the heart and the Word of God. It is a gift that the scripture says we are to desire. It is a gift that should lift people up and not condemn them. It is a gift that has an orderly flow to it:
Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy. (1 Corinthians 14:1)
But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. (1 Corinthians 14:3)
Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge. If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace. For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted. And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. (1 Corinthians 14:29-33)
