I think it has finally gotten into my spirit that I have a Heavenly Father who wants to give me everything I need to fulfill my purpose on this earth. I did not always get James 1:5 or John 16:24. They both tell us that we can come boldly into the throne room and ask for wisdom and help in time of need. It is that Bold faith that moves Heaven. What is so fabulous about this, is that the Lord gives freely! There is no limit with Him!
The word boldly means, “in a confident and courageous way; showing a willingness to take risks.” There are many scriptures that define boldly as confidence, fearless, freedom of speech. It is a necessary qualification for the work God calls us to do.
“In Him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.” Ephesians 3:12. Jesus is the One who made a way for us to pray boldly and confidently. We do not have to be afraid to come before Him, but can come anytime, with any request. He waits to hear from you.
God fills us with the Holy Spirit, who is bold and courageous (1 Timothy 1:7-8). We do not have to muster courage and strength on our own. We simply submit to the Spirit of God that is within us. God promises that nothing can separate us from his love (Romans 8:38-39).
I encourage you today to come boldly into His throne room and make your request known.
