Scripture of The Day 01/14/2025
By all possible means…save some. ( 1 Corinthians (9:22) NIV
Evangelism is my calling. I so love to see people come to know Jesus and begin to receive all He has for them. You may ask the question, “What can I do to share Jesus?”
Here are 4 things you can do.
- Pray for a desire. Jesus said, “When the Holy Spirit comes on you . . . .you will be my witnesses” (Acts 1:8) When God’s Spirit lives in you, you will see others through His eyes and seize every opportunity to share His love with them.
- Get over your fear. Don’t be intimidated by words like Generation X, Muslim, atheist, intellectual, addict, etc. Everybody needs the same cure. Bury your ego. If they reject you, you’ll only lose face; if they reject Jesus they’ll lose out eternally.
- Loosen up! Blessed are the flexible for they won’t get bent out of shape. Paul says, “I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some.” Be willing to be stretched, including rethinking the way you share your faith. If your message isn’t getting through, check the messenger, then the delivery system
- Break out of your Christian Bubble. To reach people you’ve got to go into their sometimes-not- so nice environment. Jesus said, ” You are salt.” So shake yourself up and start spreading around what you’ve got. Come on, go out today and tell somebody about Jesu
