Scripture for the Day (April 25, 2016)

And He said unto them, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature. (Mark 16:15)

Thank you for all your prayers for the Dallas Evolv function this last weekend. We had a phenomenal event and many lives were touched. Our special ministry friend David Mitts delivered the Sunday morning message and it was anointed.

There is one crucial thing that we have learned over the years about ministering at these events. It will hardly ever go like you imagined. The people that you think will show up will not show up. The people that you think will not show up will show up and they will be the very ones God will minister to. After several years of watching this happen you finally get the message that God is in charge, not you. You just need to relax and do your part. God will handle the rest.

I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. (1 Corinthians 3:6-7)

You just never know who will be the next person that God uses to change the world. The Board President of our ministry (Brig Hart) recently received a message from a person in China that highlights this very point. The following is a summary of part of that message in their very own words:

“Thank you for introducing me Jesus Christ, it certainly change my life totally. Today whatever you teach is still what I use for my team members in Asia. Not only did we also convert many to christian, we too make alot to have faith again in Christ, we impacted many people’s live too through Jesus Christ here now in Asia. Today you have no idea how much difference you made here in Asia… I will say .. alot! Today our fellow team members are all doing BIG in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and recently we are even opening Cambodia. Thank you Brig! You are fantastic! God is amazing! God bless you and your family”.

We have seen this type of thing happen repeatedly over the last 30 years. If we will all just relax and do our part then God will cause the increase. We have learned over the years not to worry about the size of the crowds or who doesn’t show up. God took twelve regular people and changed the world and He is still doing that. He is an expert in taking little and making much.

It was a great weekend and the people that were suppose to be there were there! Thank you Lord for using them all in a mighty way.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:16-17)
