Scripture for the Day (July 21, 2016)
We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers; (1 Thessalonians 1:2)
My wife Cheryl and I are so grateful for your faithful support of the ministries of New Life Network, Inc. This is such an important hour to be serving the Lord!
Our commission is to “Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel.” As we move forward in that calling we will not forget any of His benefits (Psalm 68:19). We will keep our minds stayed on Him (Isaiah 26:3). We will be anxious for nothing (Philippians 4:6-7). We will walk in the authority that God has given us (Luke 10:19). We will know and recognize that God is a shield for us and the Glory and Lifter of our heads (Psalm 3:3). We know that God will supply all our needs (Philippians 4:19). We know that whatever things we ask in prayer, believing, we shall receive (Matthew 21:22). We know that all of the promises of God are yes and Amen to the Glory of God through us (II Corinthians 1:20).
His Word will be a lamp unto our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). We know we can depend upon His Word for it is settled forever in Heaven (Psalm 119:89) and He watches over His Word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12).He is our strength (Psalm 46:1). We know that what God has started He will finish (Philippians 1:6). We will not grow weary in well doing (Galatians 6:9). We know that God heals the brokenhearted and He binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We know His grace abounds towards us (II Corinthians 9:8). We know we have His favor (Psalm 5:12).
As we move forward in our calling we pray these scriptures over your life as well. He has a plan and a purpose for you and He is thinking about you (Jeremiah 29:11) and His thoughts toward you are for good and not evil, to give you hope.
