Ask God Boldly

July 11, 2025

Scripture Of The Day

Until now you've not been bold enough to ask the Father for a single thing in my name, but now you can ask, and keep on asking him!  And you can be sure that you'll receive what you ask for, and your joy will have no limits!  (John 16:24)

By Cheryl Henderson (Excerpts from Joyce Meyer)

When I read John 16:24 it changed how I prayed.  I guess I did not know that I could come to the throne room Boldly! I didn't know that I could come to my Daddy God and speak with confidence, believing He would honor His Word and keep His promises.  But He does!!  It is that Bold faith that moves Heaven.

Some people are not receiving from God what He wants them to have because they won't ask Him boldly. They make weak faithless requests.  I don't know about you, but I want all that God has for me and I want my prayers to be effective.

The word boldly means, "in a confident and courageous way; showing a willingness to take risks.  There are many scriptures that define boldly as confidence, fearless, freedom of speech.  It is a necessary qualification for the work God calls us to do.

“In Him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.” Ephesians 3:12. Jesus is the One who made a way for us to pray boldly and confidently. We do not have to be afraid to come before Him, but can come anytime, with any request. He waits to hear from you.

God fills us with the Holy Spirit, who is bold and courageous (1 Timothy 1:7-8). We do not have to muster courage and strength on our own. We simply submit to the Spirit of God that is within us. God promises that nothing can separate us from his love (Romans 8:38-39).

I encourage you today to come boldly into His throne room and make your request known.
