As I have ministered to people over the last 30-plus years, one of the things I think holds most people back in pursuing what God has for them is not knowing who they are in Christ. I find many people have not yet realized that by the power of the Holy Spirit, when Jesus came into their hearts, all of Him came in. What I mean by that is, He says that He has given us all things that pertains to life and godliness. (2 Peter 1:3)

The words in your Bible have so much life and power in them; they are stronger than any therapy. There have been times, when reading the Word, that certain scriptures jump off the page and into my heart, and they change me!! God speaks through His Word. Jesus said that the words He speaks to us are spirit and life. (John 6:63)

Only as you read God’s Word will you begin to sense the awesome, mind-renewing, thirst-quenching, life-changing potential that was deposited within you from before the foundations of the world.

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we can ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” (Eph 3:20)NIV

Cheryl Henderson

An Atlanta Ga native, Cheryl was married for 53 years to Ed Henderson. They have three sons and 8 grandchildren, and one great gran.

In January of 2021, Ed went home to be with the Lord after a brave fight with colon cancer.
