For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)

Fear is a spirit (just like lying), and it is not from God! If the enemy can put fear on us, he can keep us from doing what God has called us to do. Fear immobilizes through imaginations, questions, and “what ifs”. What if you do this and this happens? What if you look like a fool in front of everybody? What if you didn’t hear God at all? What if, what if, what if, and on and on the “what ifs” go!

At some point in our walk with God, we have to conclude that God has our back. We have to realize that fear is from the enemy, and we must speak to it and reject it. We must tell fear that it does not own us and we will not submit to it!!!

An Atlanta Ga native, Cheryl was married for 53 years to Ed Henderson. They have three sons and 8 grandchildren, and one great gran.

In January of 2021, Ed went home to be with the Lord after a brave fight with colon cancer.

Since 1985 Ed and Cheryl have been serving the Lord as evangelists in the Tennessee area and surrounding states.
