I Am Declarations

Scripture Of The Day

“Tell them, 'I Am Who I Am.' When you go to the Israelites, tell them, 'I Am' sent me to you.” Exodus 3:14

In reading the book “Jesus The High Road Leader,” by John Maxwell and Chris Hodges, I have so enjoyed seeing how Jesus always took the high road. I know that as a leader, I always want to do the same. Our world has a strong pull on us to conform to its ways. But we don‘t have to. Jesus said in Deuteronomy, “I lay before you life and death, you choose life….. I don’t know about you, but I choose life.

The world is looking for authenticity. Jesus was comfortable with who he was because He knew his identity. As we lead others, we must know our authentic selves and be good with that. The day of pretending is over.

Here are 4 I am declarations.

Jesus said, ‘I am the Bread of Life.” Therefore, I say, “ I will nourish others through my contribution. That can be money, gifts, talents, and time, etc.

Jesus said, “I am the light of the world.” Therefore, I say, “I will turn on the light and make things brighter.” Every place you go, every person you meet, bring the light of Jesus. Be positive, smile, be warm, and speak life.

Jesus said, “I am the gate.” Therefore, I say, “I will open doors and show others the way.” Share Jesus every chance you get. Help others move to their next level.

Jesus said, “I am the resurrection.” Therefore, I will bring new life to every encounter with others.

I encourage you today to get real with yourself and press into Jesus and His way of doing things. Always take the high road.
