Scripture Of The Day

"In whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in him." (Ephesians 3:12)

By Cheryl Henderson

Excerpts from Joyce Meyer

Most of the women I minister to struggle with self-doubt, fear, and a lack of confidence in who they are in Christ. There are times the devil lies to all of us. He wants you handicapped, in fear and doubt. Well, not today, devil!!

I read this the other day, and it inspired me so much that I want to share it with you. Here are some ways for you and me to be Bold, Confident, and Courageous.

. Know that you are loved by God unconditionally. That is a hard concept for some. Romans 5:8 tells us that God showed His great love for you and me when we were still in sin; He died for us.

. We must refuse to live in fear. That is a decision. Hebrews 10:38 tells us we should live by faith. That is what pleases God. Shake off the fear and move forward in faith. It is an exciting experience.

. We must walk in a positive mindset. We can’t be negative and positive at the same time. We can’t be double-minded. Romans 8:28 tells us that all things work together for our good. Believe God’s Word and keep a positive attitude. He’s got you!

. No comparisons! There will always be some smarter than us, prettier than us, and so on and so on. God made you just the way you are. He loves you. Do not fall into the competitive trap. You are not supposed to be like anyone except Jesus. I Corinthians 12: 12-27 God wants us to walk in confidence of His love for us and be thankful for the gifts, talents, and skills He gave us. Practice self-acceptance daily.

. No living in the “if only” and the “what if.” Ephesians 1: 4-5 tells us that God chose you to be His child, and He promised to provide for your needs. Allow Him to show up in that area of your life. Let’s not constantly be thinking and anticipating something negative to happen to us.

. Time to take action. Is there a dream inside you? Is there something burning inside you? Is there a business you want to start? Is there a ministry you want to start? Seek the Lord about. He will guide you. 2 Peter 1:3 says that you have all things that pertain to life and godliness. You have what it takes to succeed
