Your Invisible Support
April 15, 2025
Scripture Of The Day
Who among men can know a person's thoughts except their own spirit, and no one can know God's thoughts except the Spirit of God. I Cor 2:11
My late husband used to teach a lot about “ Visible vs Invisible.” When he first started studying this, we had some fabulous conversations about what you see and how we pray and how the unseen is more real than what we see. As I walk out my life since Ed went to Heaven, I am finding out that I need lots of support. I need my friends, my church, and most of all, I need the Spirit of God. I read a devotional the other day that made it very plain.
As a Christian, the inner support of your spirit cannot be calculated in terms that the world would understand. Paul writes, “God had revealed it to us by His Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. (1 Cor 2:10) Only when you have surrendered yourself to the living Christ and have felt His love and strength course through you can you know the force that supports your inner spirit.
Without a relationship with Jesus, you are missing the ingredients that are necessary for a living faith. Don’t you see, it is Christ in your spirit that is your invisible support structure. As we enter into this resurrection season, I pray that you press into your relationship with Jesus. He is your Savior, Redeemer, Healer, Friend, and King of Kings.
