Relentless is a word that reveals the condition of a person's heart. It means persistent, constant, continuous, and unwavering. When you are relentless about something, you don't quit.

Did you know God loves you relentlessly? In 1 Kings 8:23, The Message says there is no God like Him, "who relentlessly loves." What a beautiful picture of our Heavenly Father!

We serve a relentless God. He never gives up on us, never lets go, and never stops loving us. I recently heard someone say, "God will never divorce you." That simple statement deeply impacted me. His covenant love is unwavering. Over the past few years, it has been His relentless love, care, and presence that have carried me through every challenge.

The apostle Paul understood this kind of faithful love. He endured hardship, persecution, and suffering, yet he could confidently declare, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28).

Today, I pray God gives you a fresh revelation of His relentless love. May you rest in the confidence that He is always with you, always for you, and will never leave you. Then, as you experience His relentless love, respond with a relentless determination to follow Jesus. The God who never gives up on you will give you the strength to never give up on Him.

In January of 2021, Ed went home to be with the Lord after a brave fight with colon cancer.
