Led In Triumph

Scripture Of The Day

“Now thanks be unto God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ…” — 2 Corinthians 2:14

By Cheryl Henderson

Life doesn’t always feel like victory. Some days feel like setbacks, disappointments, or quiet struggles no one else sees. Yet this verse reminds us of a powerful truth: in Christ, our story is not defined by defeat, but by triumph.

Paul didn’t write these words from a place of ease—he faced hardship, persecution, and uncertainty. Still, he declared that God always leads us in triumph. Not sometimes. Not only when things go right. Always.

This triumph isn’t about our strength or ability—it’s about being in Christ. Even when circumstances seem against us, God is working through every moment, leading us forward in His victory. Like a victorious procession, He is guiding our lives with purpose, turning trials into testimonies.

And not only that—our lives become a fragrance of His knowledge to others. When we trust Him in hard seasons, people see His grace, His peace, and His power through us.

So today, even if you don’t feel victorious, choose to believe what God says is true. You are not defeated. You are being led—step by step—in His triumph
