The Lord Yahweh is always faithful to place you on a firm foundation and guard you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 (The Passion)
Do you happen to remember the parable in Matthew 7:24-27? “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”
It is important to know that the faithfulness of God is surer than the changing seasons. He will always do what he says he will. What worries do you carry today? What concerns do you have? Bring them to Jesus and let Him do the heavy lifting.
With an open heart turned toward the Lord, let the peace of God meet you right where you are. The unchanging character of God is your firm foundation. Trust him to do what you cannot do on your own. Let His grace fill you with the power to face all that lies ahead. You are never alone and he will protect you from the schemes of the enemy. Let your heart be encouraged in the presence of your real help in times of trouble.
