Scripture of The Day

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:28)
By Ed Henderson (2018)
Our Pastor just preached a fantastic message on Mother’s Day about “Warrior Women”. He used the following word (Warrior) as an acronym to describe the attributes of a Godly woman: (Worshiping, Abounding, Rising Up, Reforming, Impossible Odds Breaker, Overcoming, Reclaiming). I was so proud of him for encouraging and speaking the Word to all the women in our church to be warriors and not to shrink back from religious and satanic lies that try to convince them to keep their mouths shut. No, No, No!!!! God has a calling on women and one of those main callings is to “Go tell the Men”.
You might ask, where in the world do you get that from? I am glad you asked. First of all, there is neither male nor female in Christ (Galatians 3:28). We are all one in Christ Jesus. Secondly, one of Satan’s primary goals is to get people (all of us) to quit talking about Jesus by threatening us. We see it in the Book of Acts: And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard. (Acts 4:18-20)
We see the same threats being made today under the banner of diversity, hate speech, and political correctness. We see this same tactic being bought into by many religious organizations by taking scriptures out of context and not lining them up with the very words and actions of Jesus. That’s very dangerous because what they are doing is erroneously validating a scheme of the enemy. Let’s take a look at a couple of examples in the Bible. The Samaritan woman at the well is a prime example (John 4). What was the first thing she did after meeting with Jesus? She went and told the men. She became an evangelist and started a revival in her own city. This Samaritan woman was the first person Jesus personally revealed himself to as the Messiah. Think about that!!! Let’s also look at Mary Magdalene at the grave site of Jesus. After Jesus was resurrected he appeared to Mary Magdalene first. What was his instruction to her? He told her to go tell his disciples and Peter. In other words, Jesus told her to go tell the men (Mark 16:7).
When I look back on my own life it is amazing how much influence women have had in my spiritual life. It was a black woman that loved me at 4-5 years old that broke off any influence racism would have on my life. It was my wife that gave her life to Jesus first and was instrumental in leading me to the Lord. It was a Holy Ghost woman of God that laid hands on me to receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. Think about your own life. I bet there were some very influential women in your own life. Women, don‘t let the enemy lie to you! God made you a warrior. You have been given the gift of influence and you can make a difference if you just don’t buy into this “keep silent” doctrine. The only way the enemy wins is if you keep quiet. It’s time to arise Warrior Women and take back everything the enemy has stolen!!!
