Scripture of The Day
“. . . I will stay close to you. . . .” Psalm 32:8
I posted this devotional last year about this time. I am reposting it because the Word the Lord gave me that weekend is still ringing in my spirit. I pray this scripture will come alive in you as is did me.
As I arrived at the airport and I was getting my luggage a lady walked up to me and said, “I heard you tell someone that you were a preacher.” I responded, “Yes I am.” Then she pulled out her phone and gave me his scripture, “I hear the Lord saying, I will stay close to you, instructing and guiding you along the pathway for your life. I will advise you along the way and lead you forth with my eyes as your guide. So don’t make it difficult; don’t be stubborn when I take you where you’ve not been before. Don’t make me tug you and pull you along. Just come with me!” (Psalm 32:8 & 9) The Passion Bible
This Word is not just for me. It is for you today. Are you struggling with which way to go? Are you afraid to go where He is leading you? Are you being stubborn? Just go with Him!
