Scripture of The Day 7/25/2022
In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.  Acts 2:17

Lately I have heard many of my friends that are in my age group (60’s and 70’s), talk about how they wished things were like they used to be.  They talk about how things have changed, and it seems we are all going to hell in a hand basket.  I do not believe that.  Have things changed?  Big time!  But it is never going to be like it used to be again.  Don’t get me wrong, I have wonderful, cherished memories.  I am thankful for my raising, and I loved the years I raised my own children.  But those seasons of my life are over, and it is time to move on.  I am so very thankful for the life I have lived so far, but it is not done!

I feel it is important, no matter what our age, to have a dream and a vision for the future. The Word says that God has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness. (2 Peter 1) He says He has a plan for us, and we have a purpose.  We are equipped for the days we are living in.  God is not finished with any of us yet.  If you are breathing, God is ready to use you.

I encourage you today to look forward.  Ask God what He wants you to do.  It will involve loving, helping, and praying for others.  We can all do that!

Like our scripture for the day says, you young men and women, catch your vision. Use the creativity God gave you.  You older guys and gals, dream and work to make them come true.  They too will involve, loving, helping, and praying for others.

It is time to move forward!
