Confidence is a word that is thrown around a lot in the business world. I have read books about self confidence and how to be more confident. Granted, self confidence allows you to step out when others won’t and it allows you to say things others won’t say. However, I have found out that putting all my confidence in Cheryl Henderson just might not be a great idea. I am limited, I make mistakes, I don’t know everything.
There is nothing wrong with working on yourself and and improving on yourself. The scripture says that we will be transformed by the renewing of our minds. (Romans 12:2) The whole point of walking with Jesus is to become more like Him on this earth.
My suggestion to you today is to put your confidence in the God we serve. To be strong in the Lord is to be steadfast in trusting that He will through every battle come through for you. Strong in the Lord also means that you must stand therefore in the spirit. Stand to say no when the enemy is trying to break you, you must stand strong in what the Lord says about you.
Then get your clothes on! Put on that armor! Know that your confidence is in not just a mighty God, but an Almighty God!
