Scripture of The Day 

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by
Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen  
(Ephesians 3:20-21)

 

 

I woke up this morning with this scripture, or at least part of it, in my mind. I kept hearing the phrase, “according to the power that works in us.” I guess God wanted me to be reminded of His Power working in us. Now I know that all He is is in us by the Power of the Holy Spirit and by the fact that we have asked Jesus to come in and be our savior and live in us.

Because He has supernatural power and that same power is at work within us when we are His children (Ephesians 3:20b). Think about this “power.” It is the Greek word, dunamis, which means “miraculous power, might and strength.” It is the term from which we get dynamic and dynamite

God’s power, the sort of power that dwells within every born-again believer and energizes his/her life and ministry is not the sort of “thing” that you can touch or contain in a bottle. It is the very energy of the life of God himself. It is the supernatural energy that emanates from God’s being. It is in You!

Let’s determine today that we will be bold and share who He is with everyone He sends our way. The world needs to know Him. Be bold to lay hands on the sick and pray for their healing. Remember, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” He is working is us! Even when we don’t see it or feel it. He is working in us! Allow that work to flow out of you!
