In my town it is voting time. I have already made my decisions and voted early. As important as this is in our political system, it does not compare to the elections we make everyday.
Have you ever thought about the voting booth of your life and the choices you make everyday? Did you know that your choices have a voice? They speak about you and who you belong to. They speak to others. Do you not know that people are watching you? They want to know if this “Jesus” thing is real.
Who are the ones you are choosing to hang out with? What things of the world are you choosing to participate in? I would encourage you to choose God and His Word to be your plum line and your boundary. Don’t be afraid to speak up, don’t be intimated by what others say. You are chosen and set apart for the Kingdom. Keep the Gospel of Jesus Christ moving. Share it, and live it. This is the hour to choose life! Just watch and see what God will do as you go into the voting booth of your life and choose Jesus and His way of doing things!
