As I have ministered to people over the last 30 years, one of the things I think that holds most people back in pursuing what God has for them, is not knowing who they are in Christ. I find that many people have not yet realized that by the power of the Holy Spirit when Jesus came into their hearts all of Him came in. What I mean by that is, He says that He has given us all things that pertains to life and godliness. (2 Peter 1:3)
There are words in your Bible that have so much life and power in them, they are stronger than any therapy. there have been times, when reading the Word that certain scriptures jump off the page and into my heart and they change me!! God speaks through His Word. Jesus said, that the words He speaks to us are spirit and life. (John 6:63)
Only as you read God’s Word, will you begin to sense the awesome, mind-renewing, thirst-quenching, life-changing potential that was deposited within you from before the foundations of the world.
