Scripture of The Day
Without faith it is impossible to please God. (Hebrews 11:6)
One of the most incredible teachers on purpose and potential was Dr. Myles Munroe. Our picture today is Ed introducing him at a conference. One of the things I loved about Dr Munroe and his teachings is that he encouraged people to realize their value and to do something with it.
Remember the story of the three talents? (Matt 25:14-25) Two of the people went out and did their homework and invested their talents, took a risk, got out on a limb and brought back a profit from their investments. The third guy buried his talent because he was afraid.
As we enter 2023 we cannot operate in fear and please God. We must move by faith. Faith is the currency of Heaven and God has given you a measure to use. It’s belief that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. We must use what God gives to obtain what Heaven offers.
I encourage you today to step out in faith. God will not let you down. Even if you fail several times on your way to success, God invites you to dream of the day when you hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
