Scripture of The Day
Devote Yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving. (Colossians 4:2)
NASB

I read a story about when Dwight D Eisenhower was supreme commander of the Allied invasion of Europe during World War II, he was faced with the responsibility of making one of the most far reaching decisions ever posed to a single man: the decision to change the date of D Day at the last moment. The consequences of a wrong decision were so overwhelming, in his opinion, that he felt crushed by the weight of the decision before him.  Still he was the supreme commander and the only man who could make the decision that would impact millions of lives.  He later wrote: ” I knew I did not have the required wisdom, but I turned to God.  I asked God to give me the wisdom.  I yielded myself to Him.  I surrendered myself.  And He gave me clear guidance.  He gave me insight to see what was right, and He endowed me with courage to make my decision.  And He finally gave me peace of mind in the knowledge that, having been guided by God to the decision, I could leave the results to Him.”

Few decisions you face in life will ever approach the magnitude of the decision General Eisenhower faced.  But whatever size problem you go up against, God wants you to trust Him, enough to leave your problems in His hands.  Just leave it with God.
