Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I now declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them. ( Isaiah 42:9 )
Did you know that God declares things before they ever happen? He tells us ahead of time of the new things that are about to happen in our lives. I don’t know about you, but I am ready and waiting for new things to come to pass in my life.
Sometimes we need things to be ” stirred up”. If I make a pot of Chili and I put all these great ingredients in it and put it on the stove I would have to go in the kitchen every once in a while and stir the pot. I would not want all the good stuff to stick to the bottom of the pot.
We need to be reminded of what a great God we have and that He is always working on our behalf. If we want new things in our lives then we need to begin to speak new things. Stop talking the old things. Stir yourself up! Don’t get stuck to the bottom of the pot! Spend quality time with the Lord. Read and study His Word and pray. That is called stirring the pot (your gifts and talents) for the Kingdom. Get ready for new things to come alive in you!
