Just Come With Me

At the writing of this devotional, I am in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  I am here to visit with my youngest son and his family and to preach this Sunday at the church where he serves as Executive Pastor.  I have prepared my sermon for Sunday Morning and yet I am still praying to be in God’s perfect will and to share exactly what these precious people need to hear. My goal is that someone in that place will leave changed, healed, delivered, and knowing Jesus like they never have before.

As I arrived at the airport and was getting my luggage a lady walked up to me and said, “I heard you tell someone that you were a preacher.”  I responded, “Yes I am.”  Then she pulled out her phone and gave me his scripture,

“I hear the Lord saying, I will stay close to you, instructing and guiding you along the pathway for your life.  I will advise you along the way and lead you forth with my eyes as yor guide.  So don’t make it difficult; don’t be stubborn when I take you were you’ve not been before.  Don’t make me tug you and pull you along.  Just come with me!”  (Psalm 32:8 & 9) The Passion Bible

This Word is not just for me.  It is for you today.  Are you struggling about which way to go?  Are you afraid to go where He is leading you?  Are you being stubborn?  Just go with Him!
