Have you ever heard the saying, ” Stay in your lane.” I understand why people say that and it is a good rule for people to know and understand boundaries. However, If you are a dreamer and you want to create something new and different, you might have to get out of your lane. Breakout of the norm and take the limits off.
There is a story in the Bible about a man that was a dreamer and his name was Joseph. His dreams were really a gift from God and were so real to Joseph he wanted to share them, not realizing at the time that God had given him this gift for a purpose. Joseph never abandoned his dream although he went through hell. He eventually ended up in charge of everything and was able to rescue his own family that had rejected him.
There was another man named Nehemiah. He had a dream to rebuild the wall around the city where he was raised. He had mockers, and people laughing at him, but he stayed on the wall until the task was done.
God still gives dreams today. You may even have some dreams in your heart. I would like to encourage you to NOT stay in your lane. Pray over your
dream, and begin to move in the direction of that dream. Do a few small things different everyday. Don Not give up! You have a God that can do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.
