It has come to my attention that God IS ALL I need! Well . . . dah! You would think that we would all get it! He really is all we need. You see, the Joy of the Lord is our strength. That is what the Bible says. No matter what we are walking through, our joy comes from God. That means that the world can’t take it away, because the world did not give it to us. What about peace? You can’t have peace without the Prince of Peace. When God is number one in your life, He really is all we need.
As a widow, I have come to know God as my husband. I have come to know that He will give me wisdom to know what to do in different situations. That comes from my time with Him and His Word. He is my provider. He meets every need I have and provides for me on every level.
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. (Psalm 139:13-14)
Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am. I am able to do all things through Him who strengthens me. (Phil 4:13)
When God becomes your everything you will never lack. When He is your everything you can trust Him, lean on Him, and have a peace that passes all understanding. No matter what your situation He will never leave you or forsake you.
