Scripture of The Day
I asked the LORD for help, and he answered me. He saved me from all that I feared. Those who go to him for help are happy, and they are never disgraced. (Psalm 34:4-5)
I love the fact that we can take hope and refuge in the shelter of our God who is mighty to save. When I go to him for help, he will not forsake me. That fact works for you too! His ways are so much better than mine.
David sought the Lord and God answered Him, delivering David from all his fears. So when you look to him, you are radiant BECAUSE God’s face is turned toward you just as it was for David.
When we trust in the Lord –we will never be condemned. Psalm 34 is a psalm of promise on how we can stay in happiness even with enemies and pain swirling around us. If we have His eyes upon us and His face turned toward us – then we have nothing to fear.
We serve a Mighty God! I encourage you today to call on Him and know that He is your hope, refuge and a present help in time of need.
You do not have to fear.
