Scripture of The Day
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
I get a lot of calls and questions everyday. One of the most common questions is, how can I trust God? There comes a place in everyone’s life where you have to know whether or not you believe in what you believe in. There comes a time in all of our lives where we have to trust God all the way or be in confusion. We cannot be double-minded.I love the story of Abraham. In Hebrews God made a promise to Abraham and even though it looked impossible, the Bibles says. . . . Abraham was enabled to become a father because he considered him faithful who had made the promise.
What are you holding on to? What have you not surrendered to the Lord? Is it control, performance, pride, being number 1, or what? Your Father in Heaven can be trusted. He will do what He says. He doesn’t want you to live in fear, anxiety, anger, or any other bondage. He wants you free. So Give It Up! Lay it all down at the feet of Jesus. Give Him complete control of your life. Spend time with Him. Worship Him. Read His Word and He will show you what to do. He will show you His plans for your life. He will speak to you and give you wisdom and guidance.
Give It Up and trust God.
