John 10:10, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
It is not hard to see the evil in the world today. I hope you realize that the enemy, (the devil or satan) is very real. There is good and evil, light and dark, truth and lies, and this is the hour we chose like never before. Pay Attention and do not be deceived.
II Corinthians 4:4 says, “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” Hebrews 2:14 says, “Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil—“ The above verses talk about Satan (the god of this world) killing, stealing, destroying, oppressing, and having the power of death. Satan deceived man into obeying him and thereby taking the dominion and authority on earth that God had given to man.
Jesus came to earth, resisted Satan’s temptations as the second or last Adam, and destroyed the works of the devil. A sinless man (Jesus) had to get back what a sinful man (Adam) lost.
Come on believers, it’s time to use the authority Jesus gave us to destroy the works of the devil and to walk in the abundant life!
Matthew 16:18-19 says, “Upon this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
