Scripture of The Day
Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand. (2 Corinthians 1:24)
So many people want to do their own thing these days. Even if that thing make them miserable. It hurts me to see people so messed up because they will not take godly wisdom, or even read and submit to God’s Word. That arrogance often times results in all kinds of bad situations and even tragedies.
This does not have to be. To be able to enjoy life and avoid unnecessary problems, you and I must live according to the truth in God’s Word. Remember that the devil is a liar and besides his lies other voices are speaking to us to pull us off tract. Things of this world and sometimes other people who think they know the truth will try to influence you. It is important that you must know what you believe and why you believe it. The battle for truth is fierce. The only way you win that battle is to keep your mind stayed on Jesus and the Word of God. This way when an untruth comes across your life you will know it.
You cannot stand through the storms of life on some else’s faith. You must be fully assured in your own heart. Be sure the truth will be tested in you. You will have every opportunity to walk by faith. Just remember, by faith we stand!
