Scripture of The Day 11/17/2023
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. ( Hebrews 4:12)
God’s Word is so powerful. It is alive! The book of Joshua says that we are to meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. What a great promise. It is also an offensive weapon to fight the enemy. It is the sword of the spirit.
The Word says in Psalm 138:2 that He exalts His Word above His name and lives by His own rules. This is why we can put our trust completely in His word knowing that He stands by it and lives by it. In Isaiah 55:11 God says that His Word that goes out of His mouth will not return void and it will accomplish that what it was sent to do.
Three ways to activate the Word of God in your life.
- Make God’s Word a Priority-read it everyday.
- Believe what you read- Choose to believe that God’s Word is true
- Meditate on Scripture- Think about the Word. Chew it up, roll it around, memorize it, and speak it.
Meditation will turn in revelation
Revelation will activate your faith
When your faith is activated things change!
