Scripture of The Day
For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven. (Psalm 119:89)
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock (settled), And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be
likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand (unsettled): And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. (Matthew 7: 25-27)
God wants you and I to be settled, just like
His Word is settled. The more you are settled inside, the less the outside things of this world will move you. Fear cannot stay where faith reigns! Darkness must give way to light! Lies have to bow to truth! It is far better to be settled and built on the rock than to be bewitched, tossed to and fro, or blown away by a storm.
It is possible! You can be settled!
