This concept of having a “wide place” to travel also acknowledges the liberty David received from God. The Lord has given liberty to Christians too. He redeemed us from the enemy and gives us the privilege of walking by faith. That concept is so exciting to me! It means that God knows what is before me. By His Word and the guidance of the Holy Spirit I can make wise decisions. He is with me. I m not alone in my journey. The above scripture lets me know how much God cares about me! He can make a way where there is no way. He can send angels to protect me.
There are times we are unaware of the hardships He has spared us from. If we could see in the spirit realm we would be astounded at what goes on. The father loves His kids and He watches over His Word to perform it our lives. Don’t get me wrong, we will have troubles on this earth but Jesus said do not fear, for He has overcome the world. Just know today, that He is broadening your path so that you won’t slip. Be aware today of how much He loves you and walk in His Word. He will not fail you!
