Scripture of The Day
2 Cor 12:9-10 “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
Grace is defined as unmerited favor or underserved favor. Grace is unmerited divine assistance given to humans for their regeneration or sanctification. It is a virtue from God. For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. (John 1:16 )
G is for generosity, the will to do something more for others.
R is respect, the dignity of life and work.
A is action, the mechanism for change.
C is compassion, the concern for others.
E is energy, the spirit that catalyzes us.
To me, Grace is God’s presence and power. I saw it first hand when caring for my husband as he walked through cancer. After Ed went to be with Jesus I looked back and saw how God’s grace carried me through those days. I had a grace on me to care for him. I didn’t care what I had to do, I was glad to do it. I cared for him with Joy! That has to be God! In my weakness God’s power was made perfect!
I speak Grace over you today. I pray that you catch the fact that you have received grace upon grace through Jesus Christ. He loves you and His favor is upon you.
