In the fear of the Lord, there is strong confidence, And his children will have refuge. (Proverbs 14:26)
The word confidence means, the state of feeling certain about the truth of something. The more we get to know God and His nature, the more confidence we will have in hearing His voice, be led by the Spirit of the Lord, and knowing and leaning on His Word, which is truth.
When we surrender to loving the Lord with all our hearts, souls, minds, and strength, we can know the confidence of His faithfulness. When we yield our hearts and lives to Him there is an open pathway to the peace of His presence.
Do you know the confident peace of trusting God fully with your life? He is faithful and true, and He will never change, whether we believe it or not. At this stage of my life, I am learning to lay all my worries and what-ifs at His feet. There is peace and confidence that He’s got it all taken care of.
Life will go on and things will go up and down. Putting my confidence in His love for me and that His Word is true, that He never changes, and that He is a promise keeper, I find shelter, peace, and refuge in His goodness.
