Scripture of The Day
“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us”. Ephesians 3:20
The word imagine means, to form a mental concept. The Message shares Ephesians 3:20 this way, “God can do anything, you know far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams!
Do you remember the story of the guys who lowered their sick friend down through the roof of a house because they could not get to Jesus? (Luke 5:17-39)The fact is that the house was so crowded that there was no room even about the doors or windows.
I have never thought of this before, but I would like to know which one of those guys came up with the idea ( or imagined) that they could go on the roof and lower their friend down that way.
What is blocking you from Jesus today? You know that the devil will throw every roadblock he can to keep you from your time with Jesus. What about other people? What about other things that take up your precious time?
We are living in a time when our time with the Lord must have priority in our lives. It is time for us to live with determination and to live an inspired life. Use your imagination! See yourself moving forward in the Kingdom. See yourself doing what God has called you to do. And like MaMa said, “It’s time to perform the doing of it!”
