Scripture of The Day
The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to keep still. (Exodus 14:14) NRSV
I have experienced times when I knew I was meant to keep pushing forward, and there were times when it was best for me to just stand still and let God fight for me. There is a peace in the presence of God, no matter what is going on around me. There seems to be a peace and confidence that He will help me. His promises are true and He said He would never leave us. There is joy in seeing Him fight my battles.
When our names are dragged through the mud for no good reason, and our enemies seek to destroy us and they will not relent, it’s time to look to God for our cues. He is our good daddy and He always knows what to do. We must stay humble not letting bitterness take root. We must trust in His faithfulness. He will not let lies take us out He is our defender, and He is more than able to fight our battles. I pray that today you find the beauty of stillness in His presence. Allow peace to prevail and faith to uphold you.
