As we move into this new year there are three things God is looking for from us. Jesus talked about it in Matthew the 6th chapter.
Don’t you know that everything with the Lord is a heart issue. He wants our hearts and motives pure. Psalm 51:10-13 is one I pray often. Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. This is how we stay close to the Lord and moving in His direction.
In 2022 I feel God wants us to be givers. Not making a show of anything but give as God tells you and do it in secret.
God wants us to be people of prayer. Prayer changes things. Prayer speaks faith, calling those things that be not as though they were. Praying God’s Word over every situation. Remember the movie War Room? Go into your closet, your secret place and pray. Talk to the Father. He will answer you!
God wants us to fast. Somethings won’t move without prayer and fasting. There are many ways you can put this into practice. The key thing is that you are discipling your flesh Again, it is a heart issue. As you pray and set a time to fast and pray you will be changed! You will walk in an authority you have never known and you will hear His voice more clearly
This is our year for a breakthrough! Let’s be givers, people of prayer and fasters. We will see God move in a might way!
