“God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
I would like to say to all the father’s reading this, “Happy Father’s Day! We so appreciate all you do for your children and your family.” We are so thankful for you.
I would like to tell you about the best father ever. He created you, has a plan for you, He has given you gifts and talents to use for His glory. He loves you with an everlasting love. The Bible says He sings over you. He gives His angels charge over you. He is ever interceding for you. I could fill up this entire page of who He is and how much He loves you.
Do you remember the story about the prodigal son? (Luke 15:25-32) This son really messed up. He took his inheritance and blew it and ended up in the pig pin. When he finally came to his senses he decided to go home and ask to be a servant in his father’s house. My favorite part of this story is in verse 20. “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him. Did you get this…? The father ran to one who blew it! Your father is running after you.
Like the song says, ”
There’s no shadow You won’t light up
Mountain You won’t climb up
Coming after me
There’s no wall You won’t kick down
Lie You won’t tear down
Coming after me
I guess what I am trying to say is, fathers we need you. You are important in the lives of your children. They need to see you loving Jesus. You have great influence in your family. Allow your heavenly Father to fill you with His presence and His Word
