Scripture of The Day 6/24/2022

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. (I Corinthians 15:58) NKJV

Being rooted and grounded in Jesus is so very important in this hour. We must believe in what we say we believe in or we can be deceived, moved, tempted, or just give up.   In Colossians 2:6-7 the Word says, ” So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”

You have to make sure that Jesus is your foundation. If He truly is, then know that you do not have to carry the load all by yourself. We can and should cast our cares on Him! (I Peter 5:7, Matthew 11:28)  This next scripture is my prayer for you today.

Ephesians 3 :16-19, ” I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.” NLT

One of the keys to being rooted is that we must have love in our hearts and we must have a love for God and all of His people. And sometimes that isn’t always easy. Yet , God’s tells us we must.  We must be committed to stand firm in Him.  We must have a dependency on Him and keep Him at the center of our lives.  We must be thankful for His love and we must operate in it.
