ThanksgivingThanksgiving 2010 is here!!! Cheryl and I have so much to be thankful for we could write a book about it. Speaking of books, our new book ( For The Love of God ) will be available for shipping this week. You can order it online at our website now or just click on the book cover and it will take you to our website. The book is listed under new releases. It will make a great Christmas gift. This book includes our personal testimony and reveals the power, protection and hidden treasure of the Greatest Commandment. Jesus did not tell his disciples that the most important thing was to love God with all your heart, soul and mind, just to complete a chapter in the Bible. It is more important than you and I have ever imagined!!! After reading this book, you will get a better idea of why we are so personally thankful and also see how much God loves you.

All our boys (3) come home every Thanksgiving and bring their wives and children. We will have 15 people in our 3-bedroom home for the Thanksgiving weekend. It is wild!! We have 7 grandchildren ranging in ages from 1-18. My youngest son brings his audio/visual equipment and turns our living room into a movie theatre using one of our walls as a screen. Of course, all that is presently on our wall has to come down. The grownups get the three beds and the grand children sleep on blow-up mattresses on the floor in the living room and dining room. Crazy, crazy, crazy!!!!! My oldest grandson and I are going fishing one day to escape the madness (temporarily at least).

In the midst of the craziness, we are so thankful. We are thankful that God made a way for us, through Jesus Christ, to have peace in the midst of every situation. We are thankful that all our family has asked Jesus Christ into their hearts. We are thankful for the 28 years of ministry that the Lord has called us to. It has been exciting, challenging, and very rewarding. We are thankful for Brig and Lita, Charlie and Debbie, Steve and Gina, Bob & Linda, Frank and Cindy and all our other partners and friends that have supported New Life Network over the last 20 years. This ministry is solely supported by love offerings and our book sales and there is no way we could ever do what we do without your financial support. The Gospel is free but it is not cheap. Our records indicate that we have personally ministered to an average of 8-10,000 people per year for the last twenty years and we are so thankful for that opportunity. We are also thankful that God is not through with us yet. We still have a lot of people to minister to. Our best years are in front of us!!

We encourage each of you to stay thankful. Psalm 100:4-5 tells us that we are to, “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful to him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good (all the time); his mercy is everlasting (and new every morning); and his truth endureth to all generations”. An attitude of gratitude is important to God. We are so thankful that we have three sons that have sons and daughters that come every Thanksgiving and tear up our house. Praise the Lord!!!!!!!

We love all you guys and gals!!!!!!!
