A Nugget from New Life Network
Scripture for the Day (October 19, 2015)
So here I am in the place of worship, eyes open, drinking in your strength and glory. In your generous love I am really living at last! My lips brim praises like fountains. I bless you every time I take a breath; My arms wave like banners of praise to you. (Psalm 63:2, The Message)
We just finished our first non-denominational church service with Evolv Health in Minneapolis MN and it was a night to remember. My wife Cheryl and I kicked off the meeting. Cheryl led with a couple of worship songs and then she shared a song called “You Stand” by Jeffrey Smith.
A young lady that was attending the meeting took this amazing picture from the audience as Cheryl sang. The young lady that sent us this photo lives in Florida and it was her Pastor that wrote this song several years ago which came off the worship CD that we were playing when people were walking into the service. Can you just imagine her surprise when she walked into a business meeting in Minneapolis MN and heard her local Pastor playing and singing and then seeing his words and his name on our overhead screen. This connection was totally unknown to us at the time. This is what she said about her experience:
“There is no questioning that this is the place where I belong. Church service in business, with your Pastor playing in a different time zone and state, isn’t something to question. It is God’s timing and placement.”
Brig Hart was our speaker and God, once again, showed himself strong through Brig. Many people came to the altar this night and they will never be the same again.
Thank you Lord for your faithfulness! Thank you Lord for showing up in all your glory! Thank you Lord for confirming to this young lady that you have a plan for her life and you are willing to confirm your love for her through signs and wonders!
He has a plan for you also!
