Faith-Building Words

Scripture Of The Day
“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17
By Cheryl Henderson,
Feelings do not form faith. Faith is built by words—God’s Word. According to Paul the Apostle in Romans 10:17, faith grows when we consistently hear the message of Christ. The more we expose our hearts to God’s promises, the stronger our confidence in Him becomes.
Every day, voices compete for our attention—news reports, opinions, doubts, and fears. If we listen to fear long enough, fear will grow. But if we listen to God long enough, faith will rise. Faith-building words are not just inspirational sayings; they are the living, powerful truth of Scripture that reshapes how we think and respond.
When God says, “I will never leave you,” faith rises.
When He says, “You are more than a conqueror,” courage awakens.
When He says, “All things work together for good,” hope is restored.
If your faith feels weak today, don’t condemn yourself—feed yourself. Open your Bible. Speak His promises aloud. Let His Word saturate your heart. Faith will come—not by striving, but by hearing.
