Scripture Of The Day

“I have set you an example that you should do as I have for you.” (John 13:15)

No matter which way you choose to live, I pray we always remember the generous love of God that it is always overflowing in abundance. It is not about doing everything perfect. God does not expect that. All He wants from us is humble and willing hearts. It really matters how connected we are to God’s love. That is how we move with mercy in this world. Jude 1:21 says. . . Stay in the love of God, looking for the mercy.

If we want to live for Jesus, then we must follow His lead. We must follow His ways, His Word, and His way of doing things. As a woman, I have to watch myself from getting caught up in comparing myself with others. She is prettier than me, she is smarter than me, and on and on. Jesus is our measuring stick. Don’t let the devil side track you. Jesus is the example of living love, and He is the one we should follow. May we be the people who seek to serve one another in compassion and with grace. If we get off track, Jesus is always the way back. He is full of truth, and His life will refresh, renew, and transform us again.
