We all go through challenges, trials, and down periods in our lives. Even ministers are not exempt. But the unique thing about walking with God is that He will always use every situation to teach us. The very things the enemy intends for harm, God will turn them for the good. I want to encourage you today with a worship song I heard years ago by Rita Springer, who I consider one of the greatest psalmists I have ever heard.

Don’t you know that this is not all there is? God has put us here for a purpose and a plan. He never said that the road would be easy, but He did say that He has overcome the world, therefore we can do whatever it is He has called you to. He has paved the way, and He will give us wisdom, understanding, power, and the Holy Spirit to always be with us. He is preparing us for eternal life with Him. In one of her live performances, Rita added the line that through every hurt, every rejection, every failure, and every graveyard, it is still going to be worth it, and I say AMEN to that, Rita!

An Atlanta Ga native, Cheryl was married for 53 years to Ed Henderson. They have three sons and 8 grandchildren, and one great gran.

In January of 2021, Ed went home to be with the Lord after a brave fight with colon cancer.

Since 1985 Ed and Cheryl have been serving the Lord as evangelists in the Tennessee area and surrounding states.
