No matter what needs we have in life, God is our provider. He provides when we have plenty and when we don't. He is always the faithful Father. We can trust Him to take care of us when we don't know what the future holds. Instead of fear and worry taking over our thoughts and overwhelming us, let's let God's faithfulness put our hearts and minds at rest. Remember God's promise in Philippians 4:19. One of God's names is Jehovah Jireh, our provider.
As a single woman in my seventies, I have come to rely on God and His word like I never have before. I have come to really know that Jesus is the best companion in this life. He is the lifter of my head. He is my hope. He is ever-present in times of need. He is my steady rock and knows the end from the beginning.
When we have done all that we can, then we need to let go and stand therefore, trusting God to be all that He says He is. Be at peace today. He is your provider, and He will not let you down.
